3-Ureidopropyltrimethoxysilane.
Synonym: N-(Trimethoxysilylpropyl)urea

Countertype of Wacker GENIOSIL GF 98, Silquest A-1524

Chemical Structure

Introduction

Ureidofunctional silane have better stability than aminosilanes in reactive polymer systems, like phenolic, epoxy, urea-melamine or polyurethane.
Ureidofunctional silane does not generate color with time and aging.
Ureidofunctional silane provides nitrogen reactivity without typical aminosilanes strong basic characteristics.
Ureidofunctional silane have good adhesive and sealant adhesion to oil metals.
