SiSiB® PC1820

Diethyl amino methyl trimethoxy silane.
Synonym: (Trimethoxysilylmethyl)diethylamine;
N-ethyl-N-(trimethoxysilylmethyl)ethanamine;

Chemical Structure

Introduction

SiSiB® organosilanes basic structure is RnSi(OR)4-n, wherein "R" is an alkyl, aryl, or other organofunctional group and "OR" is a methoxy, ethoxy, or acetoxy group. SiSiB® PC1820 is a novel alfa silane. The close proximity of the nitrogen atom to the silicon atom can accelerate hydrolysis reaction compared to (amino-propyl)silanes .
